Classy.........

Where I work every day can bring a surprise. some days are full on and other days your dreams of working in the circus nearly come true.
So it was of no real surprise that at the end of Mondays toil Spence said him and me would be going for a drive tomorrow, Tuesday, to have a look at a car.
"Other side of Oxford or nearby" I presumed.
"Na", Leeds.......

As the car wasn't available to be viewed before 12noon and the distance of 180 miles would take maybe 3hr  a 9am flag drop was made and progress was good for the first 45 minutes when Spencer declared that because A, we were talking, and B, with the fact he travels regulary to Birmingham to car auctions, and familiarity is a Bastard,  we were in fact heading in the wrong direction. We were nearing  Birmingham..

A couple of RH turns, through some more roundabouts and passing by the outer suburbs of Coventry had us back on track joining the M1 by Leicester..

Using the post code and Sat Nav its easy to find any address anywhere in the whole world so this 2 horse town would be easy,  except the one we wanted to view the car. With directions to follow the road down the hill, turn left at a roundabout then the address would be on the first street on the left. No street with the name we had appeared so after asking a local who knew nothing, in fact he asked us how to get himself home,  we rang the car owner. He said we'll meet back at the pub at the top of the hill. No problems..

As Spence drove up the hill road toward the pub we passed a police car going in the opposite direction and then around the next corner, " Look at this Bloody Idiot", coming at us on the wrong side of the rode. "WoW" lucky we both swerved in opposite directions, "Bloody Idiots up Here"...

And then 100 yrds on another car in the middle of the road, Stopped, Woman Waving her Arms Frantically Around and Up and Down....

And then a Siren on A Car Coming fast up Behind us....... "Police"...

Spence mate this is a "One Way Street",    "I'm only going One Way"
Yeah against the Flow Bro.....

Got the once over, didn't have his license on him, doesn't even know were it is but had his passport for bank ID so that lessened the heat and we made our meeting to get lead to view the car...

And so after doing the fine tooth comb inspection job the deal was done and two cars needed to get back to Oxford..

A very nice.......
