Partaking In CakeTaking.....

That's right in Paris we were taking cakes, as many as we wanted, to try the sumptuous taste of baking perfection. The only limit to the number tried was the cost of each morsel...

But first a couple of other Parisian  things.....

Along the Champs - Elysees this "person artist" was......

Cutting peoples profiles, silhouettes, out of black paper with scissors..... 3 Euro, 2 minutes and very accurate.......

Travelling on the tube through the Arts District one passes through or stops at......

Arts et Metiers station. To fit in with the district theme the station walls are clad in Copper.... Trendy As......

Across the tracks there's more....

Copper.... Note the Loco, wheels in Copper on the ceiling.......

And the Metro carriages.......

Run on truck type rubber tyres on flat tracks..... There are some rail type units......

Back to the Cakes; WARNING.....
IF you can't control your Lust or Want of beautiful creations, and must touch, made by the best Patisserie pastry chefs in the World. Its art on a plate.....

Then look up blogs like waiouru,  why ooh roo, where you learn to map dog crap on the tow path or take it tezy where you can read a story of self pity otherwise.....

Read On......

The Citron Praline, Lemon colour,  in the centre was  exquisite..... At Sadaharu Aoki.......

Raspberries and cream.......  mmmmmmmmmm.....

Amazing detail......

A Gateau for 6 - 8 people...... not  likely... 2 sittings for 1 I reckon... 95 Euro....

 A Choux pastry creation...

With the time,  skill and ingredients that go into creating each item...

The 5 - 7 euro price per item, compared to 7 euro a coffee, isn't bad value.....

Back on the streets and the Champs - Elysees had...

 A steady traffic flow...

It doesn't pay to....

Jay walk here.......

And if you park illegally the man and the truck will....

Take your car away even if you've turned up while it's still on the ground.....

A Mercedes show room were displaying the new model for buyers who....

While like people to know they have a new car...... Don't want to be a  stand out in the drive thru......

And if you want to save on Fuel go...

Peugeot  Electric......

We made it to the Arc de Triomphe but didn't pay to go to the top.....

As the rain had started to fall....

So it was....

The largest umbrella I've ever stood under......

Tomorrow  some Kinky Stuff...
