COUNTRY FAIR........

Fifteen minutes walk from our mooring is Shugborough Hall, Park and Farm covering 900 odd acres. Now a trust and run by the Staffordshire County Council, there was a food and drink festival  there Saturday and Sunday. With the sun shining we made our way over Saturday. There were bands playing and regular cooking demonstrations by some renowned chefs.

A section of the crowd.. It was a  very "laid back" country affair..... suitable for narrow boaters....

Shugborough Hall, 1693, shaped Yew tree's form a nice  alley..

There's a large country garden with some nice sculptures.....

Old Boat House  near the water feature in front of the Hall......

Plenty of food samples to try, Fudge was good......
